DRRT is a community-led Web 3.0 record label for emerging artists and it is produced by MYNT Music Limited, a blockchain focussed music company based in London. MYNT was founded by music industry veterans who have over 20 years of experience in music rights and A&R (Artists & Repertoire; the division of a record label or music publishing company that is responsible for talent scouting and overseeing the artistic development of recording artists).
The team at DRRT has identified that usage of NFTs in music is still in the early stages, with a lack of proper communities and tastemakers. The cost and risk involved in creating music NFTs are therefore high due to the lack of know-how in this area. The current Web 2.0 music economy is also full of middlemen, which pose hurdles and challenges for emerging artists to have a successful career.
As such, enter DRRT which is already an established community-driven label with a loyal following of music lovers and NFT collectors. DRRT aims to provide better deals for artists with bigger splits in favor of musicians and less third party commissions. They are also developing a NFT Launchpad, with drag and drop technology for music artists to launch NFT projects into existing communities.

To facilitate all this, DRRT has come up with a collection of unique robots, each one representing a social token to a community powered record label. The first drop of 2,000 NFTs were sold out within 48 hours, and there is a next drop being planned. The team has promised that the total number of DRRT NFTs will not exceed 9,090 in total, so these will be very limited in edition.
