The year is 2128 and all the resources on Earth have run out. Mankind started to search for an alternative habitat in order to survive. During one of the missions, a spacecraft that was orbiting the galaxy crash landed onto a non-space station. And that is the story of how Goldefy came about.
In this new land, you can collect and raise a fantasy creature called Goldy. In addition to collecting and nurturing them, you can form a team of 2 Goldys and they can automatically mine tokens and participate in PvP battles even while you sleep. And this is something unique to the Goldefy game, where you have the ability to not only play-to-earn but also earn while you sleep!

Essentially, Goldefy is a mining game platform where you can buy NFT characters and NFT real estate, enjoy PvP battles, and mine gold and gems for crypto rewards. Goldefy is described to be a combination of an idle game and a mining game, all merged by blockchain and NFT technologies. According to Goldefy, their aim is to make the game as simple to play as possible, thus creating a low barrier of entry and allowing more people to easily get used to the system.
The game mechanics are simple enough to understand and this is an important step towards mass adoption. You can choose to either actively play the game or allow your characters to mine automatically. There are a few important components in the game that you’ll need to be aware of:
- Breeding: When breeding characters, a new character with eyes, nose, mouth, colors and characteristics are randomly created. You will need to pay a small amount of tokens in order to start breeding.
- Character Enhancement: You can enhance your character’s abilities by sacrificing other characters. Characters can be used as “materials” once a certain number of breeds have been completed. Through enhanced character’s breeding, players will have a rare possibility to obtain a unique character.
- PVP: Compete with other players in speed battles, and whoever can dig resources the fastest will win. The winner will then win rewards from the other players.
Goldefy functions on the native $GOD token which is exchangeable for the in-game token $G-Token which can be used to purchase consumable items, breeding, enhancements, and many more! The in-game marketplace also allows you to sell your Goldys for a profit, or if you’d like, purchase more Goldys to help in your game progress!
