DeFi Horse is a horse-racing metaverse game using NFT technology that allows players to enjoy horse racing on a whole new level. The game provides us with majestic legendary war horses which we can use to compete in cyberpunk horse races. Stakes are also high as winners can walk away with huge rewards.

In order to be a winner at DeFi Horse, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with three conditions:

• Every horse is different: Each horse is suited to a specific environmental condition. You’ll need to pay close attention to the characteristics of your horses in order to understand them better. Although according to the team, Speed and stamina are the key to winning the race, and can be estimated based on the appearance of the horse, its bloodline (parent genetics), and prior racing data.
• Race performance indicators: You’ll need to have a good understanding of other players’ and horses’ race results.
• The tap-to-earn feature, which is unique to DeFi Horse: Besides equipping items and breeding horses, you can interact directly with your horses during the race to boost speed and increase their chances of winning.

In DeFi Horse, you play the role of a proud horse owner and you can breed, trade, and race your horses to create your own horse-racing empire!

• Breed: This will probably be the most profitable process in the game. If you own top racehorses, you may be able to breed prodigious spawns which can sell for a hefty price!.
• Trade: Because each horse in the game is in the form of an NFT, you can buy and sell them whenever you wish.
• Race: You can compete in races against other players. There are both free and paid races for you to choose from, although paid races will offer higher rewards.

The sequence of a race is shown in the diagram below and gives you an overview of how a race will progress in DeFi Horse. One interesting thing about this is that races can also be live-streamed to an audience, which will also allow spectators to enjoy this in the form of e-sports. With live streaming, there is also the possibility of predictive gaming in the form of the horse races. Most importantly, according to the Lite Paper, there will be a world championship held once a year with a grand prize of $1 million!

There are also additional aspects in the game, such as the Horseverse, which lets users acquire land, buy stables, or choose and arrange their own horse races. In order to facilitate the gameplay and transactions, the $DFH token will function as the utility token and in-game currency. $DFH will be used for entry fee for races, purchase of NFT items, gameplay rewards, and also for staking which will allow you to earn more $DFH.

Given that DeFi Horse has so much in store, and a well-planned out metaverse, I’m sure that all of us are now excited to find out what’s in store next for them. According to their road map, their IDO is expected to be in December 2021, with 2022 jam-packed with activities. The beta version of their web-based game is expected to be released in Q1, with mobile versions expected in Q2. In Q1, we can also expect to see the breeding platforms, marketplace and tournament mode to be released, so we hope to be able to start racing into the future soon with DeFi Horse!
