SolFantasy — A beautiful anime-style game with exciting play-to-earn mechanics

We’ve seen many games being launched in 2021 and it’s almost certain that the play-to-earn gaming industry is nowhere near slowing down any time soon. There have also been many different themes and concepts being used in the games, ranging from RPG to first-person shooter to superheroes to tower defense to space odyssey — you name it!
However, here’s where SolFantasy seems to have found their niche in the NFT gaming market. Even though Japanese ACG (art, comics, game) culture is one of the most popular art forms in the world, the genre is still somewhat underrepresented in the fast-emerging sector of blockchain gaming, with only a few titles being recognised globally. SolFantasy has identified that gap and hopes to become a major player in the blockchain gaming space.
Crafted through beautiful anime-style characters and themes, SolFantasy is a turn-based RPG NFT game in which you can trade and collect NFTs to assemble the most powerful team of Agents — elite individuals with magical powers who navigate across the dream world, fighting for your future by entering different battles with villains in the game. And in doing so, you will participate in the strong SolFantasy play-to-earn ecosystem, where you will be able to earn exclusive in-game rewards.

From what we can see from their roadmap, SolFantasy has a lot in store for us as it is packed with game features that are sure to keep fans hooked to the game. Their play-to-earn model starts with Story Mode (PvE) where you can journey into the unknown world and battle monsters and demons. Here you can earn by staking or by playing the game manually.
The Guild system will be a main feature in SolFantasy, where players can form guilds with friends and work together to earn even more rewards. Guild Wars (PvP) will see players battle other guilds to win glory, seasonal rewards, and many other prizes.
There are 5 main ways to earn rewards in SolFantasy:
- PvE Grinding: Level up your agents while you play, and increase the market value of your NFTs. Acquire rewards by defeating monsters or completing quests.
- Trader: Acquire chest or Agent Packs to amass your collection of Agents and items. Trade these in the marketplace.
- Scholar: Lend out your NFTs to others and take a cut of their earnings. You get to earn passive income and it also gives newer players a chance to actively build up their economy.
- Guild Worker: Complete guild quests and participate in activities to earn $EXP and $RUBY rewards.
- Guild Warrior: Participate in Guild War events and win $EXP tokens. There will also be leaderboards which will not only stimulate friendly competition but it also provides the opportunity to earn rewards.
SolFantasy will bring GameFi features to the ecosystem with a dual-token system weaved into several different aspects of gameplay:
- The game’s native $EXP governance and utility token will be used for the in-game marketplace, guild contributions, Guild Wars rewards, and to awaken Agents (upgraded characters reaching their most powerful form).
- The in-game currency $RUBY can be earned by playing the game and purchasing on the secondary market. It will be used to purchase upgrades, for guild contributions, and will provide liquidity for players as well as overall economic stability.
