Meta Racers is an arcade-style play-to-earn racing game in which you get to race against other players and earn rewards for your efforts. Players can earn tokens by participating in the tournaments and winning. There are 2 main modes of game play:
- Player vs Player (PvP) mode between 2 players: Winner will win reward tokens paid by the loser.
- Player vs Environment (PvE): Players race against AI, trying to get the highest score to be able to receive rewards accordingly.
In addition to these 2 game play modes, you can also look out for special events. For example, a monthly event where the top winner will win attractive prizes.
If you are a car junkie, you will love the selection of cars that Meta Racers has! You can check out some of the 3D art of their cars here. Once you have your very own car, you are free to upgrade the car so that it works optimally for you during races. Each car will have 5 components which you can modify/upgrade: Prefab, Speed, Handle, Acceleration & Nitro.
The cars collection will be in the form of NFTs and are available in limited quantities and editions, with rarity increasing with level. There will also be an in-game marketplace where you can buy/sell or exchange NFT items.
The in-game token for Meta Racers is $MRS. These will be used for governance, staking, rewards for playing the game, and for payment in the marketplace. According to the smart contract, 30% of all revenue will also be burned, making the token deflationary as well!
If you are using an Android phone, you can also download the APK file to try out the demo game for yourself! According to their roap map, the beta version of the game will be ready in Q1 2022, with plans for a metaverse and 3D gaming as well for the rest of the year.
