Legend has it that the world suddenly went dark one day, and a shockwave of energy rippled through devices all around the world. In that instance, a new galaxy was created and a world within a world was born. This world mirrored the very world that we live in, and it was known as Kitsumon World.
Kitsumon World evolved quickly after its creation and in this world, magical creatures were formed, known as ‘kitsu’. These fox-like monsters each have their own unique digital DNA and they became guardians of this new world. Soon after, Kitsumon World was given international protection and a committee of humans was established to interact with these kitsu and learn about them.
You are one of the lucky humans that have been assembled in the committee and your task is to help train the kitsu so that they become strong guardians of their world. Are you up for the challenge?
Once you step into Kitsumon World, you can spend your time crafting and trading NFT assets, participating in events, or completing tasks that will earn you rewards, items, and fame. More importantly, you can buy and own your very own kitsu and use your kitsu to participate in battles and challenges.
Each kitsu begins its life from an egg and obtains its unique skills, abilities, and appearance from its parents. Your kitsu loves attention and will reward you for your efforts, so be sure to feed them, dress them up, breed them, and get them into the battle arena to keep them happy. All kitsu will have a unique set of stats and abilities which you can dive in deeper to see how to use it to your advantage.

The most important aspect of the game is the battle arena, where you will be able to both train and battle against other players in ranked and open matches. Training your kitsu allows it to level up, unlocking new abilities and increasing overall power levels. Once you feel that your kitsu is ready, you can participate in the 5 vs 5 multiplayer battle arena, where randomly matched players from around the world will match off against each other in exciting battles.
The goal is to destroy your opponent’s main tower, or should the time run out before then, have the greatest KO count. Both winners and losers will be rewarded with experience points, tokens and other items — however the winner will obviously get a larger proportion of the rewards.
Kitsumon tokens ($KMC) are the exclusive token currency of Kitsumon World. $KMC will be used in all manner of game economics, from future egg sales, shop purchases, trading NFT assets, and more. $KMC will also be used to purchase $KANDY, the in-game currency that has no value outside of Kitsumon World.
Therefore, $KANDY will act as a buffer between the volatility of traded tokens and the in-game store keeping prices stable. Users can purchase many of the daily power-ups, subscriptions, items, and more using $KANDY.
If you are interested in getting your very own Kitsumon, do take note of their 90 day ‘Eggstravaganza’ event where 20,000 GEN-0 and GEN-0 Hybrid eggs will be put up for auction to the public via OpenSea.io. After distribution is concluded there will be a one off hatching event where the first Kitsumon will be hatched into the world and into their new owners’ care. According to their road map, other components of the game, as well as the land-based expansion will be introduced in Q1 2022. This will allow users to begin growing and crafting items that can assist expediting breeding and hatching of Kitsu and eggs.
